Flight Logs:

Total air time: 7 hour 48 minutes.

October 18, 2014 - 4 flights, 22 minutes. Wow - it has been a while! Almost had stable hovering back under control by the end. Our new cat was initially spooked, but then became curious - will have to see if she goes on the offensive :-)

February 1, 2013 - 8 flights, 51 minutes. Flying around our church gym with a friend and his Blade (dual rotor).

December 2, 2012 - 4 flights, 23 minutes. Hovering in the basement. It still flies great!

June 9, 2011 - 3 flights. 20+ minutes. Outside. Winds NNE 9 km/h. 3 batteries. Lots of just hovering around the front yard.

April 28, 2011 - 1 flight. 5 minutes. Outside! Env Canada was reporting 18km/h winds - I'm sure they were not that strong, but it was fun trying to hover over the trampoline in the backyard.

March 1, 2011 - 3 flights. 21 minutes. In my basement. Testing out 3 batteries. #3 - 8 min, #4 - 6 min, #5 - 7 min. Noticed a crack in the 'windshield' - wonder how long that has been there...

February 28, 2011 - 1 flight. 8 Minutes. In my basement. Received shipment of new batteries! #2 - 8 min. (#1 is the borrowed 160mAh from a friend - I sent him a new one as a replacement).

February 9, 2011 - 3 flights. 7,7&6 minutes. MaxBell Centre. Lots of very fast flying - so fast that the tail was weather-vaning and preventing steering capability. Lots of fun.

December 29, 2010 - 13 flights. 47 minutes. My Lightmax & Turnigy batteries are shot - 4x30 second flights. One of the E-Flite batteries is just as bad. 2x30 second flights. The other E-Flite gave 4 decent flights of around 5 minutes each. I borrowed a 160mAh, 30C Turnigy from a friend and it provided 3x8 minute flights.

December 15, 2010 - many flights. Around 25 minutes. 2 of my 3 batteries are no longer holding a charge, and the 3 is only good for 5-7 minutes. Flew in our church gym with a friend.

December 9, 2010 - 2 flights. 9+ minutes. Had time for a couple quick flights in the evening.

November 27, 2010 - 3 flights. 14 minutes. Batteries are not lasting as long :-(. Did some hovering turned 90 to the right. This better be good for keeping dementia at bay.

November 25, 2010 - 3 flights. 16 minutes. Practiced turning and staying in one spot. Right turns are harder than left.

November 23, 2010 - 3 flights. 17 minutes. Tried some flying with the chopper facing me. That gets tricky all over again.

November 19, 2010 - 4 minutes. 1 flight. All good. Used cheap Hobbyking battery. Doesn't last very long.

November 18, 2010 - 10 minutes. 2 flights. Zipping around the basement.

November 10, 2010 - 34+ minutes. 6+ flights. Lost track of time and flights. A coworker has access to a carpenter training school with a huge room for building big things in (like a house!). Posts, tools and work benches made for interesting obstacles. The mSR took many crashes - some scary hard - and kept flying! Brad managed to finally ground his after bumping it up to max aggressiveness.

November 9, 2010 - 21 minutes. 3 flights. In normal mode. Hover getting better. Did some figure eights in the basement at slow speed (constant forward, rudder/throttle only).

November 8, 2010 - 40 minutes. 6 flights. 1&2 basic training. 3rd flight switched to normal (from reduced rates) near end - yikes! That perks it up a bit. #'s 4-6 more training in high gear. First real hard crash - full throttle into ceiling and then dropped. Cowling/shroud was displaced, but no apparently permanent damage - phew.

November 7, 2010 - 7 minutes. 1 flight. Landing back where I started - twice!

November 6, 2010 - 25 minutes. 4 flights. 1st flight - basement. A couple glitches. Needing to put a lot of left rudder and some back pitch to hover right. 2nd/3rd were glitch free. Learning about affect of side rotor. 4th flight - tried landing back where I started. Hard.

November 5, 2010 - 19 minutes. 3 flights. Lots of hovering. Am noticing a bit of 'glitching' where the unit briefly (milliseconds) shuts down and comes back. Am concerned. Third flight was glitch free in basement. Hmmm.

November 4, 2010 - 10 minutes. 2 Flights. Lots of learning. (why doesn't the crazy thing turn when I tilt the right stick? left stick rudder? huh?) 1st battery spend trimming and orienting. 2nd battery spent hovering. Might get the hang of this.
